Royal Canadian Mounted Police

Royal Canadian Mounted Police
On its broadest level, the RCMP federal mandate in Ontario is to pro-actively investigate major organized crime groups, associated criminal activity, terrorism and other threats to national security. The RCMP also provides provincial and municipal policing services across the country, excluding in Ontario and Québec.
"O" Division has 1,537 members and employees and is headquartered in London, Ontario. It is led by Assistant Commissioner Mike McDonell, who is responsible for overseeing all operations. The Division is divided into two districts: the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) District and the North, East, South (NES) District.
The RCMP is committed to providing integrated intelligence-led policing services. This means we work closely with our policing and law enforcement partners at the international, federal, provincial and municipal levels. Our investigations tend to be long-term, in-depth projects targeted at the highest level of criminal organizations.
